THIS TRIP INCLUDES
Your adventure begins in Pontecorvo, a small town in the Liri valley. After a quick visit to the Cathedral dedicated to San Bartolomeo, the tour will guide you to the city of Aquino. Along the path you will be able to see the Porta Capuana, the Via Latina and the beautiful “Madonna della Libera”, considered a copy of the more famous Montecassino Abbey.
Following, you will be guided to the town of Castrocielo, where you can admire the Castle and the amazing view over the Liri Valley. In Roccasecca you’ll see the famous Castle where Saint Thomas was born and the archaeological park. On the way back to Pontecorvo you’ll enter into the “Gole del Melfa”, a 10 km path into a spectacular ravine, through spires and cliffs. From here you will be accompanied back to the departure point.
