The art of natural cheesemaking is a very special tradition in Italy that fascinates the world. Take the chance to learn this practice and live an experience surrounded by nature.
THIS TRIP INCLUDES
Your trip will take place in a lovely farm into the mountains of the Aurunci Park. A shepherd will meet you to show the everyday life in the farm, starting from the visit to the animals. Goats, sheep, cows and horses.. here everyone has their place… and their name!
Following, the laboratory will start and you will be stimulated to participate actively in all the different steps in the production of the famous “marzolina” cheese, from the goat milking to the preparation of the different cheese shapes.
After that, the shepherd will lead you to the dining room, a room made of stones that will take you back in time. Here you will have the chance to taste for lunch the local products of the farm: cheese, veggies from the garden, cold cuts, homemade bread and past, accompanied by some delicious wine.
